A
REFLECTION 23.09.2021

I went to the café to upload this afterwards. Here i could here people chatting, i could read body language better. I was closer and it felt like a better observational space. Next time - sit amongst people instead of observing from afar.
NOticed there are a lot of white, Juppy, rich looking dutch people here. Here to have their morning coffee in the park, to run, to walk their dog.
A lot of puffer coats, navy blue, an 'artist' looking woman talking with her friend- taking photos of one another's artsy looking jewellery saying 'wow, beautiful!'

Me in this space
I feel comfortable here, I'm also sipping on a coffee i'm quite aware of my privilege and that for me this has always been quite a normal environment for me to be situated in.
where would I be uncomfortable?
Seems as though everyone here has a lot of free time. It's leisurely and relaxed.
THere's a guy that just started looking at birds through his binoculars.
I keep writing with gender stereotyped pronouns - it's a way to identify another and describe them but makes me wonder why we feel the need to distinguish someone with this gender categorisation - these words carry so much weight and history to them .
I think I need to read a book about the binary
